Hello,

I was wondering if your plugin for Dropbox is still up and running and if you have any updates planned. This also because of what Matt said in his State of Word 2011 that plugins that havent been updated in 2 years are made unvisible when searched for. You havent updated the plugin for over 700 days.

You obviously do not own a ford with the sync system in it. If you did you would know that this is a piece of crap. Everyone I have spoken with who owns a ford with sync hates it. My sync drops my Ipod at least 40 percent of the time I start up the car. I did the update from ford that was supposed to take care of this problem, only now the sync works worse than ever. I could not for any amount of money recommend Sync to anyone. Just talk to any owners of this and you will find out that Sync is a great concept that does not work in the real world.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I did some research and a PHP extension for the dropbox API recently came out so the plugin could work again. Seeing some of the comments on this post, there are a lot of people who would like to see this plugin be supported (and I believe it has great potential for growth). I would like to get the plugin working again, so I think I will start development on it again very soon. I will be completely re-writing the plugin as I was not using the official Dropbox API before so it may be a while depending on how much time I have in the next few weeks. I would say a good guess at release time frame would be one month, but no promises.

Actually the brilliance of your plugin to upload the files to dropbox when you insert them into a post is what made me download this plugin today to test it. Any particular reason you refuse to support it further? I was about to write a post promoting it for those wanting to use DropBox as a CDN for Wordpress, I checked all other DropBox plugins in the Wordpress Extend library and none do the automatic upload of files to DropBox just by inserting the image into your blog post. Perhaps maybe give okay for some other developer to take over the plugin and update it for any adjustments?

By default 360p is shown for fast downloading (preview) and mobile phones, 480p is useless for me, 720p is just like DVD and 1080p is high definition (FullHD) but i think they put numbers cause is more technical and only the ones who knows about it can view it and could be also a saving to their bandwidth.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't noticed that you discontinued support on this plugin. Sorry to see it go, but I understand. Seems like you were on the right track. Maybe you already shared your code with the other plugin dev in case they can mod theirs to incorporate some of your work?

At the top of this post I say that this plugin is no longer supported. I need to figure out how to remove it from the wordpress directory.

I use this plugin now, http://wordpress.org/extend...
It's pretty close to what I made, except it only hosts your theme and not the images in your posts. You also have to upload them manually, but it's still better than nothing.

Only file in the 'uploads' directory synced. I'm using WP 3.04 with multisite. Nothing in the wp-content/blogs-dir have synced, so NO images are syncing.

Please advise support for WP 3.04 with multisite.

kideguru, I recently bought one but I am having an issue with turning on the vado 2nd gen after fully charging it. As soon as I click the side power key, the red light near the lens turn on but device never powers on but get stuck ... Did you ever exeperience the same?
